Patchwork Study Day
Summer 2021 (date tbc)
As part of our Craft & Create programme we will be hosting a study day focusing on English patchwork. Come and join us for a wonderful day of patchwork crafting inspired by real historic pieces, delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere.
We will kick off with a talk on the history and conservation of English patchwork with guest speaker, curator Edwina Ehrman, Victoria & Albert Museum and conservator Zenzie Tinker, followed by a chance to gain inspiration from historic patchwork in our Study Collection. Then after lunch an afternoon of patchwork making, led by our conservators. Craft & Create patchwork pin cushion kits will be available and could even help solve your gift dilemmas!
Look out for more information towards the summer.
